Greetings....I'm Michael, an educator based in Melbourne, Victoria and have created this site (Easy Private Tours Vietnam) to provide an easy way of booking itineraries in Vietnam and in the process having the confidence and peace of mind when planning and then holidaying, saving you both valuable time and money!
Some history… last year (2023) with the launch of Vietjet Airways, both my wife and I thought let’s go to Vietnam. We booked some flights and then had the task of finding tour and accommodation packages. Visiting the local travel agents and reading about the details of ‘Specials’, we were confronted with a range of term, conditions and availability issues. Viewing online was also pretty overwhelming with the amount of information provided and not knowing the logistics of travelling from one destination to the next throughout Vietnam.

Like we all do, I chatted with friends, family and colleagues about their experiences but Vietnam was untravelled due to everyone being unfamiliar with the language and culture. A colleague then mentioned that her sister was travelling shortly to Vietnam, who then kept me abreast of her experience interacting with a Vietnam based agent and also provided a copy of the itinerary. Their positive experience convinced me to try the 'Overseas’ approach where I then reached out and asked for an itinerary. I advised the dates travelling, arrival and departure airports and a preference of four star hotels.
I discussed the itinerary received with my wife and then requested some possible amendments of the tour options placed forward. My wife advised her brother of our travel plans to Vietnam and all of a sudden two couples were now going to experience Vietnam. I then asked him why he hadn’t travelled before and he had a similar approach to myself of being unfamiliar with the language and not sure where to even start planning such a trip.

The agent took care of ‘EVERYTHING’ planning the itinerary, booking the tours, accommodation, local logistics (including train, private car, cruise, boat & domestic flights), arranging English speaking guides and the travel visas. Even when based in Vietnam, we used WhatsApp to contact the agent to make changes to our itinerary, to leave earlier, stay longer or find a jeweller to repair a ring. Nothing was ever too hard for Lily and her team!
Now back in Australia, I’m wondering how many other couples, families, friends or extended families could also benefit from a private tour of Vietnam with an English speaking guide and a local support (great for itinerary changes and peace of mind). Hence establishing 'Easy Private Tours Vietnam' was born!
